The run-up to a wedding is always manic, and even more so if you’re planning a garden wedding in one of the most beautiful parts of England. Lydia and Alex planned a beautiful day - every single detail had special meaning to them as a couple (watch this space for their beautiful Amersham garden wedding).
Family and friends contributed to each part of their wedding day: the flowers were grown by Lydia's aunt, the invitations designed by her super talented sister Charlotte Vallance. Even the wedding venue was the home that she grew up in.
With all these details to arrange, it's easy to let the anxiety of it all get the better of you, but Alex was having none of that.
Being the fantastic groom-to-be that he is, he decided to take time out to spoil his soon-to-be bride.
Moments like this remind me how important it is to make time to enjoy the moment.
While you’re planning your wedding make moments to be alone together, savouring the time you’re spending.
Remember: life is about the moments we share, not just the big day.
